Top 10 List !!

We saw this list on a website, and thought it was a wonderful idea, so all the credit for these tips goes to Statik Salon, Inc.!! (except for #10) !!

To help you enjoy your visit with us - here is the Top 10 list:


1.  Bring pictures -- It makes it a lot easier for us to understand exactly what you are trying to do and more importantly what you are trying NOT to do!!  Our goal is to give you what YOU want..

2.  Arrive a little early....This lets you just relax for a minute or two and not feel rushed or anxious about anything.  If you didn't bring any pictures, look through our books and magazines and find that perfect "do".

3.  DO NOT LISTEN to negative opinions about your hair -- So often clients leave the salon incredibly happy, only to call back the next day saying that "my friend thinks it is too red, or my mother thinks it is still too long". Go with your instincts, and if you love it, tell them you think it is great..YOU DESERVE TO WEAR YOUR HAIR ANY WAY YOU WANT!!

4.  Please try to come without children....This appointment is about you and your relaxation.  If you are coming for a cut and color or perm, two hours is just too long to expect a child to sit and remain happy, and also other clients need to be considered.

5.  Don't color on the day of an event.  Sometimes you will get a little stain around your hairline, especially when we're making sure that gray is covered, but shampooing the next day will remove it...Also, you need to make sure we have enough time to create exactly what you want, and that may mean a little extra time.

6. (This should really be number  1!! ) Never keep quiet if you don't like what we do...Tell us, and we will try to make it right.  We truly want you to be happy with your hair and your experience; please give us the opportunity to do this.  Consider this, if we do what you have asked and you decide you don't like it later; unfortunately, it will probably cost you to have it changed (wherever you go), so why not make sure it is right before you leave ?

7.  For hair coloring, don't wait until you have two inches of regrowth before you call us!!  It is very difficult to match your new color to the old color after 8-10 weeks....Schedule your next visit before you leave to make sure you can get in for that retouch!!

8.  If you trust us, buy the products we recommend for your hair...We want you to look great between visits as well as when you leave us, and we will only recommend products that aid you to acheive the look you desire...You have spent money and time on your color or perm, so make it last longer with what we suggest.  If you know where to buy that exact same product for less, then by all means, do it..

9.  Styles wants to be your haircare salon for as long as you want us to be.. Our relationship is based on trust and our ability to communicate with each other.  We will always suggest new and exciting ways to wear your hair. We want you to feel free to let us know if you need something were not providing....Our wish is that we may satisfy you for years to come.  We have been priviledged to take care of two generations of clients, and we look forward to the next generation!! 

10. You hair adorns our design, so whenever someone wants to know "who does your hair ?" , we want you to feel great when you say STYLES does!!
